62th. Conference of the AGH University of Krakow Student Research Groups

On May 8, 2025, the 62nd Conference Student Research Groups, which is a permanent part of the University's tradition, will be held within the walls of the AGH University of Krakow.

The 62nd edition of the AGH Metallurgical Conference of Student Scientific Circles is one of the most important events in the activities of the 150 scientific circles operating within AGH. The conference event provides students with an opportunity to present the results of their scientific and construction work they have achieved as part of their activities in student scientific circles. The papers will be presented in 16 different thematic sections. The conference will be held in both full-time and hybrid formats, depending on the sections chosen. The sessions in each section will take place on the AGH campus.

We cordially invite Students active not only in AGH scientific circles but also from outside AGH to participate. We encourage you to invite friendly students active in scientific circles of other technical universities from both home and abroad!

Information about prizes

Each participant of the conference will receive a commemorative Diploma of participation.

- Winners of I, II and III places from AGH will be awarded with one-time scientific scholarships in the amounts of 700, 500 and 300 PLN respectively !!! - Winners of I, II and III places from other Universities (domestic and foreign) will receive in-kind awards.

Individuals in each section may be recognized by the Jury in the categories:

- application work with structural qualities,

- theoretical work of scientific merit, i.e., innovation of research.

The winners of the first places will be able to publish their articles in a monograph published by AGH Scientific Publishing House, which is included in the list of publishing houses publishing peer-reviewed scientific monographs of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on position 687 under number 85600 with a score of 80 points. The possibility of publication with a high-scoring index will allow, among other things, to apply for the AGH Rector's Scientific Scholarship. The condition is to develop the text of the publication in accordance with the requirements of the publisher and obtain a positive reviewer's opinion. In the case of a small number of applications of the Winners of the 1st place, the possibility of publishing the article will be given to the Winners of the 2nd and 3rd place successively.

The conference will be held as part of the Krakow Scientific Conferences initiative.
